My son and his wife like to get me chicks every spring. This year they gave me 3, who we’ve affectionately named: Wilma, Alice and Tig, after my grandmother’s sisters.
Tig is a Black Minorca
Alice is a California White
Wilma is a Silver Lace Wyandotte (though we suspect “she” is actually a “he”)
They’re still too small to out outside, so we’re keeping them in a bin in the hallway. Vivianne enjoys watching them peck and walk around though, which almost makes up for the smell they can emit.
As soon as it’s a little warmer and they’re a little bigger we’ll be able to put them out, at least for the day. Until then, we a colorful smelling house.
